Alcatel and LG renewed their offer of smartphones in the country, betting on expanding their presence in the beaten local market.
In the case of Alcatel, it announced in Argentina its Alcatel 1V Plus model (known in other markets as the Alcatel 1V 2020). The team has a 6.22-inch screen (1520 x 720 pixels), eight-core Metiatek Helio P22 chip, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage (expandable), which is complemented by a 4000 mAh battery (with charge by microUSB) and a dual 13-megapixel rear camera with f / 1.8 aperture, complemented by a 5-megapixel depth sensor (to blur the background in portraits), and a 5-megapixel front camera. The team runs Android 10, has an FM radio and a rear fingerprint sensor. Its local price is 13,999 pesos.
An Alcatel 1V Plus
LG, meanwhile, bets on the LG K50s as a novelty. The team shares some features such as the Alcatel: it has a screen of the same resolution (1520 x 720 pixels), although larger (6.5 inches); It has the same processor (Mediatek Helio P22 eight-core), but offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage (expandable). The battery is of the same capacity (4000 mAh), and the normal 13 megapixel lens (with f / 2.2 aperture) adds a 5 megapixel wide angle and a depth sensor. The front camera is 13 megapixels. The equipment has a USB-C charge, rear fingerprint sensor, runs Android 9 and includes a one-year warranty for the eventual breakage of the screen. It has a local price of 19,999 pesos.
